ibsta error with NI 2.0

I am using VB 6.0 with NI 2.0 under Windows XP. When I call the FindLstn32 to locate what is on the buss, then call copy_ibvars (located VBIB-32.BAS) to verify status of the GPIB I receive an error status when checking the ibsta. I believe the Running the same code under VB 6.0 with NI 1.7 with the same hardware does not indicate any errors.

What is the value of the iberr variable?. That is the error code, which would give us an error description.
