gpib USB-B card cant find instrument in application

i have made and tested an application in LV. When using the application on the laptop (which has gpib usb-b) the instrument is not able to find the device's on the bus. However when using the "measurement and automation" tool i can easily find the instrument. The error occurs after the vi "visa open" and is not know. What do i need to do?

Tanks for replying but i found the answer yesterday , i was using the 1.0.1 version and the cause of the problem was the visa version. I downloaded the latest and everything works fine now.
