error occurring in serial port initialization

I am trying to open my serial port for sending data. But during initialization it is giving out an error.

I have installed all the serial driver for the PC and in the device manager none of the devices are without any driver.

All perfect installations.

But still when i open the serial driver through labview, its giving out an error.

Kindly reply me the solution to correct it.

Attached is the error print screen.

Thank you in advance.

Regards
Grugh Mike

Why don't you use the visa resource control for opening?

see the example for  basic serial read write

or lookup

Use the pull-down menu to select an instance of this VI.

VISA Configure Serial Port VI

Owning Palette: Serial VIs and Functions

Requires: Base Package

Initializes the serial port specified by VISA resource name to the specified settings. Wire data to the VISA resource name input to determine the polymorphic instance to use or manually select the instance.

What you see in the device manager is actually pretty irrelevant. Did you install NI-VISA and is it shown in MAX? Are the serial ports listed in MAX?

And next time, attach the VI instead of some images in a proprietary format.
