device driver for Hitachi Avtron drive

Is there a device driver readily available for Avtron drive Advantage32 in Labview. I am new to device driver, so please guide me.
I was trying to communicate with the drive using the RS232 link(There is a converter RS232-RS485),the drive end is RS485.I connected the TX1+,TX2-,RX1+,RX2- at the drive end.Gnd is not required?
Also at the Coverter end shorted 6&20 (25 pin). Also the start bit can't be configured in Labview.I am receiving some strange characters when sending a request(As per the Format). What can be the problem?

Hi,

485 uses differential signaling so it does not necessarily need a gnd line. The "-" lines serve as the return path.

You can find all the drivers we have at www.ni.com/idnet, but I did not see one for your instrument. You may want to check the manufacturer's website as well.

To troubleshoot the communication problem, consider using NI-SPY to see exactly what is being sent and received.

Hope this helps out!
