Why can I communicate with GPIB instruments form MAX but not from from Labwindows CVI.

Running labwindows 7.1 on Win2K platform.

PCI GPIB+

I do not have a NI GPIB ICON in control panel....seems wrong?

Have you tried running a shipping example? In LabWindows CVI if you go to Help>>Find Examples, the NI Example Finder will open. In the middle of the screen you will see several folders, go to Hardware Input and Output>>GPIB and then open gpibrw.prj. Try to run this. If you cannot run this then repost.
