Verifying that GPIB device is working

I have two Stanford Research Systems devices, one is a SR400 two channel gated photon counter and the other is a 4 channel digital delay/pulse generator. I want to see if LabView can communicate with them and collect data from them. I don't have anything in specific that I want to do as of yet, I just want to make sure that they are working properly in conjuction with LabView 7.1. I am running Windows XP. Thanks for any help.

There's a SR400 driver that you can download from here. There's a DG535 digital delay/pulse generator driver that you can download here (you didn't specify the model). Assuming that you've already verified that the GPIB board is functioning in MAX, after you install the drivers, run an example VI or the "Init" VI in each.
