Vector volmeter VS Osilloscope

Hi!
Any one can tell me the difference between the use of Vector volmeter and the osilloscope? can osilloscope substitute vector volmeter if we make some program for data processing? Thanks!

I don't have experience with these instruments but hopefully someone in the community does! If you ever have any questions about whether or not NI supplies instrument drivers for specific instruments however you can visit www.ni.com/idnet where you can search through our instrument driver database.

Now hopefully someone can help you determine the differences between those instruments!
