Hi,

I am Vasileios, an Applications Engineer with National Instruments. I am happy to assist you regarding your query.

According to this knowledge base article, linked below, the error-1073807360 is caused from the selected number of data bits. The data bits must be 5 to 8.

http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/D2084EC381319CC386256A1D006F1415?OpenDocument

If you select to use 5 data bits you can either use 1 or 1.5 stop bits.
If you select to use 6, 7 or 87 bits, you can use either 1 or 2 stop bits.

I hope this will be helpful.

Regards

Maybe you should start e new thread and tell a bit more about your problem: are you using LabVIEW, what kind of interface, what kind of device or instrument, etc., etc.
