I'm using a parallel port to perform serial communication, using only gnd and Txd signals, with a third part dysplay. When I use COM1 everithing is OK, but when i trie to use LPT1 i get a parity error -1073807254. I had already shunted pins 11 and 12 to gnd (18-25). The parity is NONE.
