We recently upgraded from Labview 5.1.1 to 7.1 and are trying to get our hardware to run under the new version. We have an autocorrelator from APE which is read out via the serial port/RS232. The problem is maybe related to the timing because after the command to send the 512 bytes of data is send to the autocorrelator only a varying amount from 1-512 bytes is read. The settings of the serial port: baud rate, data bits, stop bits, parity and flow control are set to match the old settings. A manual waiting time between send request and reading of the data didn't solve the problem. Help would be greatly appreciated.
