PCI-GPIB not in 6.1 VISA class I/O sesion of "Locking.vi" example?

I am in the Locking.vi example and I see no PCI-GPIB under the Visa Resource Name / select class / select i/o session. The DOS interface is exchanging commands to my device at address 1 but I can't get this VISA session to write or read. The smplgpib.vi works fine but it doesn't use VISA right? Hope to gain clarity because user manual and other knowledgebase (that I saw) said little about VISA and PCI-GPIB. Is the VISA resource name looking for the gpib0 :: dev addr :: dev name? Didn't work for me...
