You'll need the manual to know how to set the different types of Ethernet interfaces unless you blindly stumble upon it when you browse the menu. Your Ethernet cable should be s cross-over type unless the pc or scope will auto-switch. I would recommend you use fixed ip for both the scope and the pc port. None of this initial setup is LabVIEW related.
