NI-8452 used as slave

Solved!
Go to solution

Hi Msaifuddin and welcome to NI forums!

There are many devices that can be easily used as SPI Slaves. Any DAQmx card that has DIO capabilities is usable as such, here you will find an example. All HSDIO devices of ours are also usable, there is a reference library to suport development. Lastly, you can implement SPI slave in any FPGA device, and there is a community example doing exactly that.

Best of luck with the development!

Kind regards:

Sorry for the delay.

Thanks a lot. My company may buy a HSDIO.

Cheers

well, according to the discussion of this link- http://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW/SPI-slave/m-p/1165207/highlight/true#M508862

'The 'SPI Digital Waveform Library' is not designed for slave mode. If you wish to do it other way around, you need to write it from scratch, and use CS as a trigger signal.'

Does it mean I cannot use this library if we buy a HSDIO?
