Is there support for SMP under the current NI-488.2 Linux driver. If not, is there any way I can get the driver to install under a SMP kernel?

Hello,

I assume that you're talking about the GPIB driver for PCI GPIB and other cards, and not the one for ENET/100 GPIB interfaces.

From what I understand, this should work. If you can get the driver to compile under an SMP kernel, the driver should be thread-safe in the kernel. Are you having problems getting it compiled, or are you just curious?
