Lookout Protocol Drivers OPC Server 4.5 hangs after running continuously

Hello,

I am reading a GE Fanuc PLC with Lookout Protocol Drivers OPC Server 4.5 and LabVIEW DSC Runtime System 6.1. The program runs fine for a day or two, but after that when the DSC Engine is stopped the Lookout Protocol Driver window does not close down and stays in a "NOT RESPONDING" state. Please suggest as to what could be a possible reason for that.

The details are as below:

Hardware :
PIV with 256MB RAM

OS :
WinNT 4.0 with SP 6.1

Software :
Lookout Protocol Drivers OPC Server 4.5
LabVIEW DSC Runtime System 6.1

DAQ Module :
GE Fanuc PLC

Hello Ravinder,

The DSC Tag engine might not be releasing the resources associated with the drivers. If you have not already tried it, wait for some more time before you try to close the OPC server. Also there is a patch for LabVIEW 6.1 DSC. The link is http://digital.ni.com/softlib.nsf/websearch/513AA4A0BB60D10086256B48006D44B5?opendocument&node=132070_US . Please download it and see if that helps you.
