Linux installation for GPIB-ENET/100

When installing Linux drivers (nienet-linux-1.2.tar.gz) for the GPIB-ENET/100 is it first necessary to install the basic Linux drivers (nigpib-linux-0.8.5.tar.gz) for GPIB card usage?
Or does the nienet-linux-1.2.tar.gz installation stand alone and afford me the control I need for the GPIB-ENET/100?

The GPIB drivers for Linux v0.8.5 are not required for the ENET drivers to operate properly.
