I have a ICS 488-PC1A card.

Hello,

Thank you for contacting National Instruments.

I was not able to locate a driver for that particular instrument/card
in our Instrument Driver Network.

You may want to try contacting the card's manufacturer directly. You
can also submit a request at www.ni.com/idnet to develop a driver.
Submitting a request does not guarantee that a driver will be made,
but if there is enough interest, it will prompt development.

Best Regards,

I did a small seach for the ICS 488-PC1A card and discovered that it is a very old, 488.1-compatible card. ICS only supports this card using DOS drivers. In order to communicate to GPIB devices using LabVIEW, you need a gpib board that has support under Windows. Typically, you need a 488.2-compatible card to do this. I recommend purchasing a PCI-GPIB or other similar card from NI if you wish to communicate LabVIEW. NI Cards are typically the most integrated.
