Keithley 2400 configured as a meter (not a source) in labview 2011

Hello all,

I am new regarding using Labview, and would like to ask you regarding an issue.

I am using Labview 2011 and have a Keithley 2400. I installed the latest driver provided by NI (1.2.5 I think), and wanted to get the readings out of the Keithley.

I checked the examples provided for Keithley but they were all dealing with the Keithley 2400 as a source (Voltage or current sources) and IV characteristics.

I wanted to use it as a current or voltage meter? Are there any way to do so?

Thanks in advance.

Well, the 2400 is a Source Meter.  It does not behave like a DMM.  But the closest you are going to get to what you want is the IV characteristics example.  In it should be VIs for getting the measurements.
