Installing old GPIB-PCIIA card

I want to install an old GPIB-PCIIA card : ref ASSY180810-01 REV A1 S/N 018968 (manufactured in 1989) under Windows 98.
I have no manual and no driver for this one
Please how to do ?

Hi Castor

The assembly number on that card is of the 180xxx-xx form, which indicates it is a 488.1 board. Unfortunately, National Instruments does not have a driver to support that version of the card under Windows 32-bit operating systems (Windows 95, 98, ME, NT, 2000, or XP). The only available driver for that board is C13 for DOS. This information as well as the driver download can be found at http://ni.com/support/gpib/versions.htm

Getting started manuals for the 488.2 version of the GPIB-PCII/IIA can be found at the following websites:

Again, these manuals are for the 488.2 version of the board. The DOS manual for the 488.1 version should be similar, but it is not available.

I would highly reccommend upgrading your GPIB board. The PCI-GPIB is a plug-and-play board and much easier to configure.
