Howdy John,

I don't believe we have GPIB-422 part.  However, we do have a GPIB-232/485CT-A, which I'm guessing is what you were asking about.  Here is the manual to that device.  If this doesn't answer your question, please post back with the exact part number of what you're interested in and I'll definitely track it down for you.
Sincerely,

Chris G in AE

Hi,

Did you find the manual you were looking for? The one in the link was for a completely different device...

The only thing I could find was http://digital.ni.com/manuals.nsf/websearch/A7F2E32A3B12315F8625665E00687944

Looks like the product is long obsolete.

I know it's old... The one I have is from 1984.

The document you linked is a programing manual, but before I can use that I need to get it working first and I can't do that right now because Labview doesn't know what to do with it.

The manual linked above says that you can use either 485 or 422. My understanding is that RS485 is a superset of RS422 - http://www.ni.com/white-paper/11390/en/

Just how old is your version of LabVIEW? How old is your computer? Did you even find a driver for it? You need that before a manual.
