Unfortunately there are no smaller installers available for NI-Device. One thing I would recommend that you do to try to change this is submit product feedback on NI-Device. You can do this by going to
www.ni.com, select the option to
Contact NI in the top left hand side of the page, and select the option to submit "Product Feedback". This doesn't guarantee that a smaller installer package will be created, but it is a better place to document your request than just on the discussion forums.
