How to control a HP9872C plotter via LabView?

How do I control an old HP9872C plotter via LabView and GPIB?
I assume it is certainly just sending ther right ASCII-characters.
But what are the commands? HP-GL?
I could find anything helpful on the HP website.

HP9872C should work using HPGL commands.
