How to comunicate serial port with IP

The instruments should be listed in MAX first. The socket reference you mention is a VISA Resource Name. Did you manually add the other instruments in MAX with the add TCP/IP resource tool?

Hi,

Now the problem is solved adding the structure you can see after the VISA resource name. That structure was in the program I told you in a later post that worked with those devices via Ethernet. The problem was in the shape of the commands I was sending and not in the Ethernet conexion.

In this case it is not necessary to list the instruments in the MAX.
