Help with NEC 0591 GPIB Board

Our PC operating a piece of equipment died on us, so i am trying to reinstall the software/hardware on a different system.  I am trying to use a NEC 0591 board on a Win-95 pc running a DOS application.  I have no literature on the board, and am unsure about proper jumper settings.  Could you please advise how to setup this board with the jumpers, as well is in the ibconf.exe application?

Thanks

I did a search on this "NEC 0591" GPIB board and could not find anything useful. If this is a GPIB interface, you will need to contact NEC to acquire the user manual and driver software for it. Eespecially with jumper settings, we could not help you if we don't have the manual.

Is your GPIB board h/w compatible with NI's AT-GPIB, PCI-GPIB, etc.. ?

What device driver (NEC or NI) are you using?

There are mainly two ways for using DOS device driver, 1)use native DOS driver configruing it within CONFIG.SYS, 2)use Win32 driver for Win95/98 platform enabling GPIB IOs in DOS box apps through the VxD-hosted VM (virtual machine).  The board vendor (NEC) may have these kind informtaion for using your GPIB board.
