TG,

 

Make sure you have 'Mode' configured for 488.2 on the WT210.  Make sure you have a Null Modem cable.

EDIT: If anyone wants to know the specifics, I have a DB25 to DB9 converter, a homemade null printer cable - male to female DB9, and a USB to DB9.  The homemade cable simply has pins 2 and 3 crossed, with pin 5 connected - three wires in all.  Of course, this won't allow for any sort of flow control, but I'm cool with that.  You could also wire up every pin.  Check wikipedia for the pinout.  Wikipedia - Null Modem

Just one of the quirks of the Yokogawa WT200 series.  The LV libs from Yokogawa are written to comply with the 488.2 Standard.  A painful lesson I learned a long time ago and never forgot.
