Generic GPIB drivers or any for PCL-848A/B

Hi, New in Labview 7.0. Kind of asking is there anyone with this model GPIB card(PCI) : PCL-848A/B. I'm using windows XP and it seems my O/S does not reconize it(due to no win driver)(I only had its C library files). I search through the web for the manufacturer of this card but useless. Is there any generic GPIB drivers for all GPIB cards in WINXP enviorment? Or can i use the Mesurement and Automation Explorer 3.0 to configure this card manually in WINXP? Or is there any other way out? Thanks

What a strange little card. I googled the groups and then the web. Found
this:
http://support.elmark.com.pl/advantech/Icom/Pcl-848/

There's documentation and a so called "UTILITY&DRIVER.ZIP" fil
e. Looks
like stuff you may already have but there's a few LIB files too. Well, at
least now you know it's made by Advantech 🙂 Maybe you could contact them
directly.

You could always check out the Linux-GPIB project:
http://linux-gpib.sourceforge.net/

They don't show your card as being supported but it's worth asking the
developers. I haven't done it myself but I hear it's easy to compile the
source into a windows dll.

The Openg.org project just released some LV libraries that work with the
Linux-GPIB drivers. You would have to modify them slightly to get them
working on windows.

Good luck!
