Anybody have some ideas on getting a National Instruments GPIB-ENET/100 to work on a Linux box?
I am running Red Hat 8.0.
I can ping the GPIB-ENET/100 successfully.
I have downloaded and printed a copy of the document Getting Started with Your GPIB-ENET/100 and NI-488.2 for Solaris.
I downloaded the file named from NI and unzipped the folder to the root directory.
The first time I ran , it had a problem finding the file so I forced a copy in the directory .
Now the program completes with no error.
The program runs, but doesn't see the ENET/100.
There is no evidence of ethernet activity on the ENET/100 (no lights flicker).
The program was not able to find .
I found a file named in the folder, so I made a copy
of it, and renamed it .
now runs with no error.
Do the files from the need to be unzipped and installed first?
Any help is appreciated.
