Does the TNT4882 have a register set that identically emulates the TMS9914 register set?

Looking at the HEX offsets for TMS9914 compared to Turbo+9914, they are not a one-to-one relationship. Does the TNT4882 have a 9914 mode with the exact TMS9914 register set? Thanks, TJ

Hello TJ,

No, this does not exist. The TNT4882 includes the Turbo488 circuitry which places registers in certain offsets where the 9914 registers originally were placed. Thus, some of the 9914 registers are moved to different addresses.

Hope this helps.

No, but the NAT9914 is a drop-in replacement for the TMC9914. Same pinout and register offsets.
