Does NI plan to update nigpib-linux-0.8.6 to work with kernel 2.6?

I need a driver for NI-gpib (pnp) isa cards to work with Linux kernel 2.6.X (Mandrake)
Does NI plan such an update, and if so, when might it be available? Version 0.8.6 does not compile
wirh kernel 2.6.X despite my efforts, too many missing libraries etc.
