Deatails about my Visa problem

System:

Windows XP
Labview 6.0
Max 3.1.0.3021
NI Visa 3.1

Agilent I/O libray M.01.01.04 ( I do not install HP VISA)

Hardware:
NI GPIB-USB-B cable
Agilent 34970A

In Max I select NIVisa Tulip.dll, and I see there is this file at C:\VXIPNP\WINNT\....

About NI VISA, I have tried many versions, all work in the same way.

Now I do not know waht to do. I am driven crazy by these kind of stupid work.

The attachment is the error message.

Do not enable tulip. There is no reason to unless you have Agilent VISA installed and if you have an NI GPIB-USB, there is no reason for any Agilent software at all. I don't know why you're even looking at the serial ports. The idea of a GPIB-USB is to enable GPIB. Check under the GPIB devices to see if the 34970 is listed there.
