Connecting to Tektronix TDS5104B scope through ethernet

We are trying to control a TDS5104B scope with LabVIEW 7.1 through ethernet. We have the scope connected to the pc and have pingeg the scope and it is talking to the pc. The scope has tek-Visa and VXI-11 installed and the pc has NI-Visa installed. The pc has 2 ethernet cards installed and also has two PXI bridge cards installed in it as well. We have tried clicking on VISA TCP/IP Resources in MAX and creating a new resource but MAX can't seem to communicate with scope. Any suggestions?

When you create a new TCP/IP resource in MAX does the "Browse local subnet" option find your device? If it does not it is possible that the device is not on your local subnet.

Verify that the device is on your subnet, and make sure that you are not being blocked by any hardware or software firewalls.
