Bug in IVI driver for Agilent DCPowerSupply ag66309B

I am using an Agilent DCPowerSupply ag66309B.
This unit has two channels. But Channel2 has no OVP.
When using IVI driver or Soft Front Panel (alone or in TestStand), it always try to send OVP enabled or OVP limit and the driver returns an error.

To see this problem, just try to set voltage on an ag66309B channel 2.

How can I bypass this problem ?

Hi Jean-Louis,

If you are using TestStand IVI Step Types, there is nothing much you can do to bypass the problem. However, if you are using the driver directly, you should just remove the Configure OVP function when using Channel2.

I have already submitted a Corrective Action Request for this problem so the driver will hopefully be updated soon. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hi Vesna,

The final user is ST_Microelectronics. They want to use the TestStand Step types and IVI Soft front panels.

Could it be possible to get the source code for this driver in order to get temporary something working ?

Hi Jean-Louis,

Certainly. We ship a source code with each of our drivers. The IVI specific driver files get installed into the Program Files/IVI/Drivers/ directory.

I hope this helps.
