9206 connector analog input connector

have a bunch of 9206, well,  need to get more

wiring is not trivial wtih these connectors, have to stick in screw driver to get enogh slack to insert the wires

have to repeatly change the wires often for what Im doing..  and then with 5 modules might spend all day doing the wiring.

am thinking of making a connector system for this

anyone have any ideas on connectorizing for it

maybe a PCB interface board that can slide into the 36 pin port?

maybe pull out the 36 pin ide type inferface connector (V2L 3.55) and put ina  new connector that can mate with it, but then i have access to all the IC from otehr end of the cable?

maybe spice an IDE cable and connect that with the 9206, then with the connectorized end, can use that to mate with other parts in rapid manner

anyone ever try this before?

never had to do rapid connections before, this might not be the right system for it but do want to have direct connections from my system to this system

Hello Biosolutions,

Why are you rewiring the module multiple times? Are you connecting the same module to many different inputs, or are you rewiring the same input to the module for different functionality?

We have options for other connectors for your 9206 device available on our website under the Pricing Tab for the NI 9206.

Also due to the voltage range of this device, please be careful while manipulating the connector or any wires attaching to it. Make sure that the device is powered off and that you are using safe electrical practices.

i dont see you were able to provide a link to a replacment option that porvides a solid connection like a screw in terminal..  there are others of the ones you can pry open with a screw driver.  They are really crappy terminals, thanks for reading my email.

these are the mating parts

disclaimer, not that i am promoting this, who knows, it might blow up or something

The part in the NI module is from the B2L 3.5 series by weidmueller  (2.5 by 3.5mm pitch 2 row)

This represents the part

some cables for connecting with these types of connectors are shown here

a bigger catalog of their parts can be found here.

Some of the figure show these terminal housings configured into wires
