The CRC of the data strings are correct.

That example could work. But I would use examples to get an idea how it could be done and use that information to build my own application.

It depends on what you want. Is this a one time LabVIEW action to get something working or do you want to use LabVIEW in the future for more project and maintenance.

If you want to learn LabVIEW build your own application and learn from it.

You are right.

I started  long time ago with labview and usb ni6008 saving data from anlog sensors

Then I learn comunicate via COM port using Visa.

Then Arduino with LiFA

Now modbus

Of course I learned a litle with people like you and the worst thing is sometimes I need to developt some application  for about six months for students use durind their last project. Then maybe i will never use it again. 

Bu always I share may final applications for people like me use freelly.
