go to "help" ----> "find eamples". then search for "can transmit" and "can recieve" vi's. you need both open and running together to transmit and view a can frame.

USB-8473 is NOT used with X-NET.

You need NI-CAN driver for a USB-8473.

I think this is the reason you can't find the example

Any NI-CAN or X-NET question is better suited for Automotve and Embedded Network Forum.

http://forums.ni.com/t5/Automotive-and-Embedded-Networks/bd-p/30

You will find more people who work with these products there.

To your question, 100k baud rate is pretty small I would advise to look over the user manual of your device and double-check if the device is suited for High Speed CAN or Low Speed CAN network. Again posting this info to the forum I linked above will get you more help.

'Hi

I am using USB 6353 and USB 8473 to transmit the CAN signal.

When I open the CAN Transmit-Periodic .VI example and run it , am getting the "NI-CAN: (Hex 0xBFF6210D) error".

Can anyone help me to solve this issue.

Thanks.

What is your product rate?

You have to same rate as your product.

You can use scope to measure CAN signal.

I could not find the error code 0xBFF6210D on ni.com.

I think your hardware connection maybe missing 120 Ohm resistor.
