What is your setup? PartNumber of the board, Driver version, LabVIEW or CVI version?

I'm using the 8532 to connect to the bus in PXIe 1062Q, Driver is  DNET 1.6.6, Labview 2011,  windows 7.

I'm trying to test the SW starting by the open DNET interface vi., I didn't connect to the bus yet and I wonder do I need to be connected ? i.e. is there kind of hanshaking is required in the OPEN.vi ?

If possible can I talk to someone to explain better, thanks

The 8532 board needs a different driver. The Ni-DNET 1.6.6 driver is for our legacy hardware line. You need the NI-IndCom for Devoicenet 2.0.2 driver from here. However it currently doesn't have a API as you know it from 1.6.6.

So it would be better if you try the 2.1 Beta from here.  We will release soon so the Beta driver should be in good shape.
