I'm having some trouble getting LabVIEW or NI MAX to recognize an ethernet LAN instrument I've got connected to my computer. I've pinged the device and gotten several port numbers for it through a command prompt, so I know that my laptop and the instrument are communicating. I'm not sure if it's VXI-11 LAN compliant or not (I'll email Schneider Electric about that). Even so, I should be able to establish a connection to it through Raw Socket communication since i have its IP address and six port numbers for it. Any suggestions?
NOTE: Through network and sharing center, I can see that there is no network access through IPv6 Connectivity and no internet access through IPv4 connectivity.
