yes, BoschRexroth apparently got very selective as far as information sharing goes. Back in the days when the drives were still sold under the Indramat label there was like a detailed 50 page desciption of every protocol. Not anymore .... Everything available are the few pages user #giusceppe posted earlier in this thread. And that doesn't say a lot. I meanwhile checked with that Molex EIPTools, getting the very same results. Reading implicit at instance 102 works, writing at instance 101 returns without errors when matching the lenght of the objects setup in the drive. But it has no effect on the object(s) in the drive. All other instances appear not to be served on reading as well as on writing ('class/instance not found' message)
I've an old Rockwell PLC with EIP interface laying around here. Just got to find a co-worker who has the right software installed to set this thing up. I'll post an update once I tried this.
