8532 doesnot show up in max

Hello,

I have installed the PXI 8532 card and installed the driver NI-Industrial Communications for DeviceNet 14.5. I also have a PXI 8461 Card which shows up under devices and interfaces but not 8532.

it shows CAN and DNET devices under devices and interfaces but does not list the 8532. before i installed the driver it showed only PXI 8461

please see attached image.

Thanks for the help

Hi freemason,

Could you provide a MAX Technical Report?

Using MAX Technical Report to Document Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX) Configuration Information

http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/271F252B4EF0A2E0862570E70056A1E4

Do you see the cards in Windows Device Manager?  To open it on Windows 8.1 or 8, right-click in the bottom-left corner of the screen or press Windows Key + X and select Device Manager. On Windows 7, press Windows Key + R, type devmgmt.msc into the Run dialog, and press Enter.  It should look like the picture below, but if you find the cards with a yellow bang then you may need to reassociate the driver with the device.  Microsoft has a guide for that here: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/update-driver-hardware-isnt-working-properly#update-drive...
