What type of motors can the Robot Daughter Module take?

The Technical Documentation for the Robot Daughter Module states that the Robot Daughter Module will aspect up to four motors. Would you please give some insight to what type of motors the Robot Daughter Module was designed to take? Where they standard 540 CAN R/C motors? If so how many turns and what winding where they?
