I am using the VAB for Infinity software with a 6711 board in a college
DSP course. On occasion, when a student disconnects or shuts down
a board improperly, a message pops up indicating that the VAB software
failed to close the DSK 6711 board. Once that happens, subsequent
launchings into VAB gives us a message that only one instance of the
board may be open, therefore it doesn't recognize the board. We
can't eliminate that message unless we reboot the PC. Is there a
way, via Task Manager, or some other tool, to manually close out the
past instance of the DSK 6711 board so that we won't have to reboot to
clear it?
