VAB installation issues with Media Center

I installed VAB on a new Media Center computer.  Half way through installation, it crashed.  Now if I try to install it I get the error that tells me to Uninstall and Unathorize through the help menu.  This will not work because it is not installed, and I cannot access the help due to it not being installed.  So, what do I do now?  Please help me!!!  Thanks,

Re: VAB installation issues with Media Center

You can resolve this problem by manually deleting the Windows registry key that governs VAB's un-install process. You should find the Hyperception VAB key listed among the entries located at the following Windows registry path: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\ You should verify that you have selected the proper key before deleting it from the registry -- if you used the default installation path then you will see a reference to \Program Files\Hyperception as the installation directory. Removing this key should allow the VAB installation to proceed. Regards, Steve
