Trouble with the Robotic Daughter Card

We recently received our motors for the robot daughter module. However,  we can't seem to drive the motors when we connect a 9V power supply. Is there some specific hardware connection or software manipulation that must be made?

Re: Trouble with the Robotic Daughter Card

The motor module daughter card provides a power connector that is used to power the motors that are connected. This power is separate than the power provided to the daughter card via the SPEEDY-33 DSP board. The daughter module can drive any servos attached via the SPEEDY-33 power, but does require that any motors attached be powered via the supplied connector. It is important that the polarity of the connnector be adhered to when connecting the external power supply source -- the silk screen of the motor module provides this information. Regards, Steve
