5132: "The format of the string is not supported"

Hi,

I am trying to stream both channels of my new USB 5132 to disk simultaneously, using the C# example "Scope: Stream To Disk".  I have entered "0:1" (without quotes) in the Channel Name box.  The result is the error "The format of the string is not supported".  Is there some other syntax or example that will allow me to stream both channels of the 5132 to disk?

Thanks,

Penny

Hi Penny,

Channel String Syntax

If you try an empty string or a comma separated string (as in "0,1") do you still see that error?

Which version of NI-SCOPE are you using?  You can find this by looking in Measurement & Automation Explorer under Software.

Also, I'd be interested to know if you have any other devices (besides the 5132) which show the same behavior.

Re: 5132: "The format of the string is not supported"

Hi Andrew,

Thanks!  "0,1" and/or "1,0" seems to work fine - both channels are streaming into and out of the file now.  I also did put in an empty string and got the error "channelName == String.Empty".  I am using NI-Scope 3.8.1 .

Best regards,

Penny
