Hello Forum
After updating the VI Icon in a VILIB (Project->Goop->Edit Icon...) the Vi description is lost! This happens to me with the latest OpenGDS and NIGoop as well.
I have crosschecked it with LV2012 without any problems. Is there a known problem or is there something wrong with my installation?
Thanks in advance

Thanks not good 😞
I can't understand how this could happen, but I'll have a look.

I did try and I can't reproduce it.
I tested it on 2014 32 bit.
If the installation is corrupt, I would think nothing would work.
How can I reproduce your steps?
Maybe post your code, maybe there is an issue with the VI.
This is the VI that gets running:
C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 2014\resource\Framework\Providers\Open_GDS\ClassProviders\Common\IconEditor\GDSIconEditor_CreateVIIcon.vi
You can easily debug it by swapping the case in the disable diagram structure on the BD.

Hello Mikael
Thanks for your quick response. Please try to reproduce this with the following link.

It happens to me allways if i want to update the Test.vi icon.
Project->Test.vi->Goop->EditIcon (accept)
Now the ViDescription is gone. ;-(
Ps.: If i attach the Test.vi to a Class, everything works without any problems.... (Just a hint)
