Message Posted! Why this message?

From yesterday onwards I see a message "Posted! Return to the message..." why is this? Is there any reson behind this implementation? To be honest I feel lazy to press the Return to messgae link after each post which I feel unnecessary. Any thought?

Safari and IE, both gives me this message, Didn't you get one?

My Bad, I have enable the "Show confirmation message" in my Preference settings. 😞

Actually I was trying to resolve the Messgae fail issue on safari and ended up with this setting without knowing what it does. Now I know
