Message Listing

Somehow I thought that the forum behaviour was different before: Now, if I open an unread message on page 1 and then click on 'Message Listing', I would expect that I return to page 1 from where I started. However, if the thread, i.e., its first post, is older now I will end up at say page 3 instead. Somehow I consider this unintuitive.

For demonstration: I open the marked thread, which is found on page 1

After reading it, I click on 'Message Listing' with the result that I end up at page 3

Hi Wolfgang,

Thank you for reporting this. This is only happening with topics that are longer than one page. Changing the page for the topic, then clicking on Message Listing, takes you to a random page on the board.

I will report this bug to Lithium and will let you know when I have an update.

Lithium has confirmed that this is a bug which they are actively working on. However, there is no estimate for a potential fix at this time. I'll post again when I receive an update.

In the meantime, to return to the first page of a board, you can click on the board name in the breadcrumbs.
