Community Spam

There seems to be a lot of spam on the community arriving now from users khipoo and bittujee.  Rather than report abuse on a growing number of messages, hopefully someone can remove all these directly.

Perhaps the Community/Forums should have a cap on number of posts allowed daily (<= number of days posting??)

Thanks for reporting this.

I've let Hassan know and the spam should be taken care of soon.

Currently, the Forums does have certain flood post thresholds set to prevent attacks. They are based on a posts per minute rather than per day.

Posting at one per minute or less gets around the attack threshold.  Restricting to one per day for new accounts could just see thousands of new users created.  Perhaps IP addresses should be looked at and blocked, as they're probably originating from the same place.

And now there's new users just commenting on these posts by repeating the information, e.g.

It continues unstopped. Quite a few more new accounts...

We need drop words. For example any post that contains "live stream" should be held.

I hope that this case will be analyzed in detail to see where the flaw is. It is possible that they used compromised accounts or disposable e-mail addresses (e.g. mailinator) to sign up.
