I'd say this evening, around 9:30 pm EST, forum access got really slow, then starting failing from there. Long time connecting to pages, at least 15-20 seconds to load. Then later as things got works, getting some HTTP failure messages like in message #10, or the grey, striped "progress" bar I've seen listed in other message threads. I also noticed for a bit of time the common error where user information was not coming through where you can't tell rank.

I have seen some of these issuse as well. I have also been completely unable to access the online training the last couple of days. I only get timeout errors from the server. (I have a valid SSP and it has always been working before)
Also, the Dashboard page (http://www.ni.com/myni/dashboard/) is unreliable and sometimes loads, sometimes just give a timeout error.
I have already contacted OnlineTraining@ni.com.

The issues seen last night were related to a regular update made during our maintenance window. Apologies for the inconvenience to anyone who was online at the time. These updates must be made regularly and while we cannot avoid impacting all community members, we attempt to make them at time of the day when we have fewer members online.
Please let us know if any of the problem continues.
Thanks!

NI Online Training, again the yellow highlighted msg:
"Our server provider is currently experiencing technical difficulties affecting our learning environment. This might lead to some delays or training not loading. Thank-you in advance for your patience while we work with them to resolve these latency issues."
Maybe NI should find another "server provider"?

I can not access Online Training too.
On 'http://www.ni.com/myni/dashboard/d/' I see a check if I'm allowed to access Training
for two minutes and then the pages returns
Gateway Timeout The proxy server did not receive a timely response from the upstream server. Reference #xxxxx
If I try to open 'http://www.ni.com/self-paced-training/' after two minutes the page displays
We're sorry, ni.com is temporarily down for site maintenance.
This happend to me last friday, yesterday and today.

Hi,
this morning (at work) and right now (at home) the login into the LabVIEW forum is really slow for me!
It took each time >2min after clicking on "Log In" before the login page refreshed.
2mins of seeing nothing but a white screen (at https://lumen.ni.com/idp/profile/SAML2/Unsolicited/SSO )…
(Side note: in the morning I took my chance to get a fresh coffee :))

Gerd -
We are still actively investigating the issue with the white screen when logging in. Unfortunately, we don't have any updates at this time.
It does seem that when you're stuck on the white screen, if you go to forums.ni.com, you should be logged in already.
We will let you know when we have more updates.
Thanks,
Lili

Try the following:
when you see the page "https://lumen.ni.com/idp/profile/SAML2/Unsolicited/SSO" hanging for long, just open another tab, and open the forum site. With this trick I get myself just logged in at once. I think the redirection of the ni site hangs only, so you are actually already logged in...
edit: haha, Lili was just faster a bit 🙂
