To set up a subscription to a category to receive an e-mail notification for every question that is posted in that category, click on "Subscriptions" in the sidebar, and click on the "Create new notification" link in the upper right corner in the "Manage your notifications" table area, and then select the category you wish to subscribe to. You can choose individual categories, or the top-level categories. For example, if you choose the top-level LabVIEW category, you will be subscribed to the LabVIEW General, LabVIEW Real-Time, and Datalogging and Supervisory Control categories all at once. To subscribe to other categories, you can repeat this process.
The other option is to click on the "Subscribe" icon near the top of the page next to the
"You are here" location identifier (breadcrumb). By clicking on that icon, you can set up the subscriptions.
Currently, there isn't a way to subscribe to receive notifications on all the answers posted in a category. You would actually need to subscribe to individual threads in order to get notifications of answers and comments posted on that thread.
